ARC believes in the power of movement to change lives. We are proud to announce our program designed to serve girls and women with special needs in our local Conejo Valley community by empowering through the physical and mental benefits of movement/running AND connection.

What

This is a free 4 week program designed to support wellness through movement for all levels.  Each session will include an individualized, progressive training program (designed by RRCA, USATF, VDOT, ACSM Certified Coaches and supported by licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy) to develop movement (whether walking or running), pairing with a mentor and building connections and community. Participants will be given an optional home training plan for the week in order to maximize impact.

Why participate

Movement is essential to wellness and has incredible mental and physical benefits to include preventing chronic illness and depression, improving resiliency and boosting overall mental well being (all of which are scientifically proven). 

Who

Any woman with special needs over 12 years old who is able to walk for 2-5 min.

When

Wednesday nights from 530-630pm for 4 weeks, April 27- May 18. Parents are welcome to attend with their daughter. What is the cost? The program is free! ARC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and will be funding the program.
